This is a complete re-work of the Matthew Herbert track 'Silence', the original version of which is found on the Herbert - Shakes album, released last year by Accidental Records.
This Merz version was only ever made available on the Japanese CD release of the Herbert - Shakes album.
Now available just to you the subscriber community.
I'm pretty proud of the work I did on this, it's not a conventional song by any means but it's a piece of music which holds an atmosphere and a presence, deconstructs Matthew's song, puts it back together a little fragmented, elongated, trying to hold the silence, true to the mood. Hope it finds a place in your playlists somewhere.
